Fathers Be Good to Your Daughters: The Powerful Connection Between Fatherlessness and Pornography
Tim Rarick, PhD
Fatherlessness and pornography are to society as fuel and wind are to a forest fire—both feed off of and amplify each other. In short, my main premise is that pornography is profiting from the breakdown of the family—particularly in the area of the father-daughter relationship—and this family breakdown is fueling the porn industry.
Dads can provide a unique contribution to the social, emotional, and sexual development of his daughters. This presentation will explore what daughters gain from an involved father—not the least of which is a respect for the body, a healthy view of intimacy and sexuality, wholesome relationships with men, and the power to avoid sexual exploitation. Come learn how to get Dads involved to fight pornography in a way that few can.
