How can I be sure my registration is completed?
If you successfully registered for the conference, you will get a confirmation email. Check you spam or junk folder first, then email info@utahcoalition.org if you still cannot find the email.

Do I need to bring tickets to the conference?
Yes, please print the confirmation email or show it on your mobile phone or tablet at the conference for admission.

I prefer to pay at the door. What form of payment will you accept?
We accept cash, checks, and credit cards.

How can I make sure I can attend the sessions I want to?
The sessions are open seating. We have so many great speakers that even your alternate choices will be very worthwhile!

I would like to hear all the speakers! How can I get information from the sessions I am not able to attend?
We will have videos of most of the sessions available online following the conference, with speaker’s permission.

Where can I park?
Parking is available at the Salt Palace and in many parking lots nearby, including City Creek parking. There is a good parking lot on South Temple between 200 and 300 West.

Parking at the Salt Palace is $12. They have two underground garages (see map):

  • West Lot is closest to our conference – Enter off of 300 West between 100 South and South Temple (400 stalls)
  • South Lot – Enter off of 200 South between West Temple and 200 West (600 stalls)
  • Handicap parking available in both lots
  • No in/out privileges – if you leave you will have to pay again to return
  • No overnight parking; height/length restrictions
  • Bicycles racks are located in the garages and in various places outside the facility

Frontrunner and Trax:

Don’t want to drive into downtown? You may want to use public transportation to avoid parking.

You can take the Frontrunner train from many stations both north and south of downtown. Ride the train to “Salt Lake Central Station” then transfer to Trax. Once on Trax at the “Temple Square” stop, which is right in front of Abravanel Hall. The convention center is just a half a block south of that stop. Then to get back to FrontRunner, get on a blue line Trax (as at this point the green line goes through too), and make sure its destination is Central Station, not Sandy.

For full info on riding Trax visit the UTA website.
What area of the Salt Palace will the conference be in?

We will be using the rooms 155, 255, and 355. They are at the north end, near South Temple and 200 West.

Where can I get lunch?
We will have a 1 1/2 hour lunch break. There will be concessions open in the Salt Palace, or you can walk to one of the many restaurants or food trucks in the area. You can also bring your own lunch if you like. Here are some lists of nearby restaurants:    Salt Lake Restaurant Map    Urbanspoon        Local Eats

Can teenagers attend the conference?
Depending on the interest, personality, and maturity of the teens we think many would benefit. We trust parents to make that decision. Sixteen years and up might be a good guideline for many teens. Especially if parents attend with their teens, the conference could be a great conversation builder.

Can I bring my baby to the conference?
Parents may bring newborns and nursing babies as long as they are willing to leave the room when the baby is making noise. We know you recognize that everyone who comes has sacrificed time and money to be there, and we want it to be a good experience for everyone. Toddlers and pre-teen children are not admitted to the conference.
